MPH 609 - Global Perspectives on Public Unit(s): 3
This course covers key public health concepts and trends globally. Students will examine existing and emerging public global health issues from a socioecological perspective and compare how they are addressed differently in different countries. This course will pay particular attention to how structural bias and health inequities shape health of individuals and populations through the lens of social justice. Students will build skills in analyzing public health literature and writing persuasive, evidence-based arguments.
