NURS 677 - Health Informatics Unit(s): 2
This course presents the graduate nursing student with an opportunity to apply leadership skills in healthcare informatics. Computer application concepts will be applied in practice, education, administration, improvement science, and research to promote effective and quality care. A concentration on the meaningful use of information systems and computer competencies will be emphasized. Principles of data management will be introduced to develop strategies to improve patient, population, and organizational outcomes by using risk reduction methodology.
