In this preparation course, students will gain knowledge and skills needed for success in their applied practice/fieldwork experience (APEX). Through practice of ethical and professional communication skills students will learn to navigate the process to secure a fulfilling fieldwork experience in a public health agency that will advance the student’s career goals. Steps to establish students’ applied practice experience will be covered including the examination of all documents required before fieldwork begins.
