This course explores the following queries: How do LGBTQIA+ people navigate religious contexts, especially those that have often attempted to negate them? In what ways can religion be queer? In addition to readings and discussion, students engage with members of LGBTQIA+ religious communities and develop a related project with and for their community partner.
