In this course doctoral students will learn and apply the principles of planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities from a leadership perspective to produce a potential evidence-based change of practice project plan. Students will also develop a personal leadership strategy to utilize in their journey as a DNP. Quality improvement and patient safety initiatives along with basic budgeting will be integrated into project planning. Conceptual models of program planning will be applied to a broad range of activities in order to develop and manage a project.
