PSYD 745 - Evidence Based Practice IV: Groups

This course will review and synthesize the clinical and research literature ongrouptreatment of mental health problems. Students will also learn the dynamics ofgroupprocess including the types and stages of groups, andprocess of groupformation. Major theories of group therapy and evidence forgrouptherapypractices will be examined. Cultural factors and application of these interventions with diverse communities will be discussed and analyzed throughout the course.
