NURS 788 - PMHNP Clinical Practicum IV Unit(s): 3 to 4
This practicum course provides students with supervised clinical practice relevant to the role of a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing integrated health care to special populations. Principles of prevention, health promotion and symptom management, research and epidemiological data are used to assess, treat and manage each patient’s acute and chronic medical and psychiatric disorders for outcome-based practice.
