MPH 636 - PH Program Mgmt & Evaluation Unit(s): 4
Principles of formal program planning and evaluation in public health. Planning topics include needs assessment, asset mapping, intervention selection and adaption, writing goals and objectives, program logic models, and budgeting and timelines. Evaluation topics include the role of evaluation in the program life cycle, evaluation research designs, the application of particular designs to selected problems in public health, relationship of statistical processes to specific evaluation designs, sampling, culturally appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methods, data collection and analysis, and interpretation of findings.
