Not open to native signers. Continuation of the study of the fundamentals of American Sign Language: Comprehension skills, grammatical structures, practice in the production aspects of the language, and exposure to Deaf culture. Upper beginner to moderate proficiency.
This course includes a mandatory one-hour weekly group conversation class with a tutor for nine weeks of the semester outside of the class meeting time.
Prerequisite: ASL 101 College of Arts and Sciences
