HONC 375 - Global Human Rights Unit(s): 4
‘Human Rights’ is a concept most people recognize and say they support, but is not always understood for the complex, layered issue that it is. This course considers the meaning of human rights in a global context and examine the questions, debates, and controversies that have always been present when considering human rights. Through interactive activities and critical analyses, students develop a better understanding of the complexities of the topic, as well as skills for working in the human rights field.
