ART 240 - Art + Arch Lecture Series

Unit(s): 1

The Art + Architecture lecture series brings artists, designers, architects, and curators together with students to discuss their current practices and undertakings. Each year, the course’s speakers are organized around a theme determined by the department in conjunction with the Thacher Gallery, and uses this theme to consider the fruitful intersections between the programs represented within the department as a whole. This course broadens students’ horizons of intellectual, artistic, and career-oriented possibilities, with a specific focus on social justice and community engagement.
