To achieve the learning goals, this class focuses on the primary elements of business intelligence and decision support systems in the global context: database platforms that store data, corporate innovation, data analytics challenges, and effective decision-making and corporate planning. Students will learn fundamental design elements in terms of data modeling and database implementation. The data warehouse intended to better support business intelligence/analytics tasks and related organizational infrastructure are also discussed.
