CHEM 230 - Organic Chemistry I

Prerequisite: CHEM 113 and CHEM 114 - Laboratory with grade of C (2.0) or higher. First semester of a two-semester course. This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts necessary for understanding organic molecules. These include nomenclature, conformational analysis, stereochemistry, radical and nucleophilic reactions, and spectroscopy. Offered every Fall and Summer.
